We are delighted to announce that full planning permission has been granted for our development at Cunningham Drive, Dalkey.  We will be commencing preparatory site works immediately and hope to bring the new homes to market by early 2016.  When construction is fully commenced, we anticipate creating 50 full time equivalent jobs on site.  In addition, the project will yield €4-5m in taxes and local government charges, on top of any employment related taxation.

The decision from An Bord Pleanala caps what was one of the longest planning application processes we have been through in 35 years, and while we are delighted with the end result, the process itself too far too long.  We continue to call on central Government to make changes to the Planning laws to dramatically speed up the process so industry can deliver much needed new housing in Dublin and keep a lid on prices and speculation.
